I had the best experience ever with the customer service rep today. She was so helpful and more than willing to help me in any way. It was quick and easy. Great Job!!! I lost my keys and the battery died (my fault). They sent out new keys right away as I had a notarized form etc...

The safe arrived damaged so I called in and a replacement was sent out right away.

Frederick is a treasure!

I was having trouble closing the safe door after setting up the system. Luckily I talked to Frederick who was incredibly patient and thoughtful in helping me to determine the problem. He asked for photos which helped him figure out the solution. He followed up with me to make sure every aspect of the issue was solved.

First Alert Safe Support

Frederick was so amazing. I could not get my safe to allow me to reset a new combination. He called me and did prolonged trouble shooting and never gave up. He figured out the problem - a broken reset button, helped figure out how to work around it and now I was able to reset my combination. Thank you also to Mattie who was my first adviser and was very patient and helpful, and got me to Frederick who was the ultimate "fixer".

Recently, I quite uncharacteristically lost my wallet.

After a week of searching for it—and feeling really down and baffled—I began the process of replacing my wallet’s contents.

Replacement credit and bank cards were easy to get using the banking apps. However, I needed my driver’s license number to order a duplicate license. Fortunately, I knew I had an expired license in my First Alert safe. The challenge? The safe would not open. The batteries in the keypad expired and I had no idea where the keys were.

At this point, it really felt like the tides were against me. After tearing my house apart,looking for the keys, I searched for First Alert’s Customer Service number. And it felt like the tide turned when Lindsay S. answered my call. She was so kind and reassuring. She quickly emailed me the forms I needed to order a replacement key, and advised on the fastest way to get the forms back to her.

Useless against theft

The burglars opened it with a tree lopper and old hedge shears they got from my basement. Was I a fool? It was no protection against theft. I don't want others to make the same mistake. It really is only pry resistant. didn't open right up for them.
