I am happy with this product but if I ever need a replacement key, it seems like it would be a big hassle!!

This safe is exactly the right size for folders containing valuable documents. It is heavy, but that's because the shell is designed for surviving water and fire. We're using this for the "Next of Kin" documents that our kids will need to find after we're gone, and we're confident that this safe will survive disaster while protecting our documents.
The first safe was delivered but the locking pin wouldn’t come out and had to be returned. The replacement was delivered with a big gash in the safe from a fork lift. That had to be remixed and returned. The replacement came without any visible damage, but again the locking pin wouldn’t come out. There appears to be a serious quality issue with first alert safes and shipping process. Buyer beware
High quality safe. Just as advertised. I ordered it from First Alert Safes. It arrived damaged. Customer Service sent a replacement immediately. It Met my expectations.
